The W225 Active Carbon is a wonder product. It combines the power of Active Carbon which provides maximum odour control with the white calcium bentonite granules. This would be perfect if you find your tray is left quite smelly. As with all VanCat litters, simply fill the tray to 7cm in depth, then scoop out the clumps as needed. Providing you top the litter back up, you will never need to empty the entire tray.

I have previously written a review but wanted to do another and include a picture of my cat who has been converted into using clumping litter. This litter as said before is exceptional in how quick it forms there are no odours and very minimal bits on the floor from leaving the tray. I thank Vancat for producing a litter of such high standards what a great find !
Both my Maine coons are ok with this, it can be a bit dusty but it certainly cuts done the smell because our Reggie is one smelly Maine coon. I change it completely every two to three weeks but top it up when needed.
All cats in my experience love the soft sandy texture of Vancat - this was a feral kitten that used it right away - it taps into their instinct to dig and cover their waste Easy to clean and manage and no waste
I was quite dubious about trying a different litter after years of wood based. But this is a game changer. The cats took to it immediately. There is very little dust and no unpleasant odour. It certainly makes life easier and is reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

This cat litter was recommended to me by a friend. It is the best cat litter ever. I have 2 cats who share a litter box. The litter clumps really well making it easy for me to keep clean. There are no lingering smells whatsoever, even when I have asked visitors. I would highly recommend this cat litter. I also like that I can buy it in bulk.
I really didn't think this litter would work....however I was so wrong. It clumps immediately, stays dry and only needs topping up. I wish I had found it sooner !!

It does what it says and you don’t have to empty the bin completely just top it up regularly. I have two Maine Coons and the male can be a bit smelly but this litter works a treat. I do tend to change the bin completely every 4 to 6 weeks though.
Was recommended this cat litter. Tried and was good, then tried others that were clumping and came back. I now have a 3 bag subscription each month. Both my cats love this and it keeps smells to a minimum. The way it clumps is great and allows you to remove large solid pieces where they have wee'd. Don't go for cheap stuff it's not worth it.

The litter is of excellent quality no dust and no mess have never experienced clumping litter that clumps that quick ! I tried many clumping litters but my cat would not get in his litter tray then this one was recommended and although it took aporox 2 weeks my cat uses it all the time now
Absolutely love this cat litter. It clumps everything which makes it easier to remove. It also absorbs the smell … I would certainly recommend.
This is the only litter we have ever used so I can't compare it to others. However, I love the clumping aspect, and the odour control is brilliant. I do find it a little dusty when adding/ changing litter.

I’ve been using this litter for a number of years. I have 2 cats and this stuff stops all odours. There has been the odd time I have run out and used different litter whilst waiting for my delivery, and the difference is obvious. It goes a long way (you just remove the lumps) and it’s good value.

I’ve been using VanCat for seven years, and I wouldn’t use any other cat litter. I use the carbon clumping litter, and it does an excellent job controlling odor with no lingering smells. It’s easy to scoop, forms solid clumps, and is simply the best cat litter I’ve ever used.

Was skeptical about this litter at first as had previously used wood and paper and cleaned the tray regularly. But it's actually amazing. No smell or tracking and it clumps extremely well. It makes life much easier, especially in a multi cat household. After the initial fill up, it's very affordable.

We have been using this litter for almost 3 years- it was the litter put cat's foster carer had been using, so we continued with it. The litter is great for absorbing and odour control. The reason I have knocked a star off is that I do find it dusty and it does track out of the litter box easily. But, this said, I wouldn't try another brand as I'm very happy with the benefits.
I brought this bag of cat litter because of the active carbon added to it. It blocks the smell from the cat litter box and the granules stay in the box or the mat rather than around the floor. I would definitely buy again
The cat we recently rehomed was used to this make, so I bought it & have been very impressed with it. I mix this with the unscented litter, it’s perfect! A bit expensive but definitely worth it.
I have been using Van Cat for quite a while and have always found it to be super absorbent with excellent clumping ability.I made the mistake of trying a replacement a couple of weeks ago the old adage of you get what you pay for is so true.I have received another order today so all has been resolved.
I've used this litter for a couple of years now and love it (so does my kittys) however the last couple of bags I received have been burst resulting in losing quite a lot of the contents. Not sure if its the quality of the plastic bag as seems to be splitting. I have already gave this feedback with not response which is disappointing.
This litter certainly cuts down the smell from my big maine coon Reggie who has no colon due to megacolon when 9 months old. Will continue to buy.
