Delivery Times

We pride ourselves on our speedy dispatch, so we aim to process and send orders within 24 hours on working days (though it’s often much quicker). Parcels are processed until 13:00, all orders placed after 13:00 are processed the next business day.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Zones A & B: 1–3 working days*
  • Zone C: 2–4 working days*
  • Zone D: 3–5 working days*

*Excludes weekends and bank holidays.

Delivery times may vary depending on availability, location, and factors outside our control. During bank holidays, please allow an extra day for delivery. During the Christmas period, please allow an extra two working days.

Ordered more than 26kg?

To protect the well-being of our team, delivery partners and customers, the maximum weight for any parcel we dispatch is 26kg. Orders weighing over 26kg will be dispatched in two or more parcels and may arrive separately.

Delivery Costs

We offer free delivery across most of mainland UK (Zones A & B) when you spend £42 or more.

For most orders under £42, a standard delivery fee of £4.25 applies. Delivery costs vary by delivery zone and parcel weight, with higher rates for Zones C and D due to the nature of our products and the costs associated with shipping them long distances from our base in Dover.

Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout, so you’ll always see the exact total before ordering.

I’m in Zone C or D, what does this mean for me?

If you’re in Zones C or D, unfortunately, free delivery doesn’t apply, so standard shipping fees will be added to your order.

If you have a pet store local to you, please feel free to recommend our products (or provide them with our email address trade@vancatuk.com) and we’ll do our best to include them in our trade program so you can shop our products locally.

Why have Delivery Costs Changed?

As a small business shipping heavier products, rising courier and fuel costs have made adjusting our free delivery threshold unavoidable. In recent months, the changing global political climate and rising fuel costs have significantly affected shipping across the UK, especially for heavier products such as cat litter. We worked hard internally to delay this change for as long as possible, but we can no longer feasibly absorb the rising costs on our own.

The price increase allows us to continue providing fast, reliable delivery while maintaining the quality and service our community expects from VanCatUK. 

Orders below £42 will now incur standard delivery charges, which are automatically calculated at checkout based on the delivery zone and parcel weight. We’re really grateful to our wonderful VanCatUK community for your patience and understanding at this time.

Want Delivery Updates?

Our delivery partner, DPD, provides tracking updates during the delivery process. To find out where your parcel is, visit their website or download their handy app. You should also receive DPD communications via SMS or email. 

For the best delivery experience, we recommend making sure your address, trusted neighbour and safe place preferences are up to date in the DPD app.

If your parcel has already been dispatched, you may still be able to change your delivery preferences in the DPD app. However, please check DPD’s terms and conditions before doing this, as liability for the parcel will transfer to the recipient, in accordance with DPD’s delivery policy.

Missed DPD Pickup Shop Collections 

If you choose to have your parcel delivered to a DPD Pickup Shop, please make sure it is collected within the time frame provided by DPD.

We completely understand that life gets busy, but as reshipping comes at a high cost to our business, if you miss your pickup window and ask us to resend your parcel, a £5.99 redelivery charge will apply to cover the additional shipping cost.

To help avoid this, we recommend downloading the DPD app.

Problem with your Delivery?

We do everything we can to pack your parcel with love and care, but sometimes things beyond our control happen in transit. If your parcel arrives damaged, please let us know by following the steps in our Refund Policy.
