As with all VanCat litters, simply fill the tray to 7cm in depth, then scoop out the clumps as needed. Providing you top up the litter, you will never need to empty the entire tray.

Highly recommend this odour locking firm clumping litter - it is the BEST litter - I have ever tried for my 2 x Siamese fur babies - this is because keeping my hygienic, stainless steel litter tray, using this extremely hygienic litter - makes cleaning their litter tray so easy to maintain, my cats love digging excitedly in this litter, to do their business and then cover it over. I can confirm that it goes a long way - more than other brands. On average I buy 2 bags a month and love that you simply clean up by removing any clumps and poops and then just top up afterwards - no need to throw away any litter - you just top up to about 7-8 cms - this makes it very economical - people comment how fresh and clean my home is and that it does not smell like, I have cats - like other homes can smell. Just try this litter, and then you will not want to stop using - it is absolutely amazing….

Best litter ever. More expensive than most initially but lasts ages so definitely worth it 👌.
I was using corn based litter which was good but I needed the best odour control possible for my two cats and two litter trays. They are situated on the middle floor of my 3 storey house and the smell spreads throughout the two lower floors. Since switching to this litter, there has been a real improvement. In addition, it clumps very well and hardly tracks at all.

This is the first clumping litter I've ever used (first cats!) and I'm really glad that this one was recommended to me. No dust, very soft underfoot and the kittens made use of the facilities as soon as the new litter was in the box 🙈 My girl has decided that the litter mat is her new snoozing spot too.

I find often the clumps break apart from emptying. I fed this back to your customer services recently and it’s still happening.
I have 9 cats! 6 are Ragdolls and 3 moggies I’ve tried so many litters over the years from wood pellets,tofu,paper etc and never once had the results I have with vancat! I’ve used vancat now for many years and we have a litter robot 4 which vancat works perfectly with There is no nasty smells,it clumps perfectly and is very soft on the little paws I use the grey series and I have a subscription for two bags to be delivered every two weeks which works perfectly for me I would highly recomend vancat to anyone with a multi cat household Thank you vancat I have 9 very happy fur babies
Great cat litter , I wouldn’t use anything else , Coco very happy as no dust to make him sneeze, no odour from his box , clumps the soiled area straight away with no waste of litter , box keeps very clean and no smell at all , and litter lasts for ages. highly recommend

Fantastic product but not happy with the courier company that delivered the parcel.
This really works ! So easy to scoop out the litter tray daily leaving it dry. I haven't done a full litter change for a month now, and there is still no smell. I just keep it topped up. Simple !

I have used van cat for years. It’s great for clumping. First I had a manual litter box and it worked well. Now I have a litter robot and it works perfectly well in that also. I would highly recommend.
Best litter I have used. My cat goes out quite a bit but still likes to use the litter tray. Never any smells. Because it clumps well we don't need to change the whole tray very often.

The best litter
We have a four cat household so we need a good quality litter. Vancat is the best we have tried and we have tried everything! No smell and excellent clumping. Well worth the money.
I was hoping for the price I'd get a light weight litter. It wasn't light weight as I found when went to pick it up out of the box and on the first application, a cloud of dust appeared. When I went to a scoop the lumps, it was like solidified clay and took quite some effort to scrape up. I may use this with a combination of another litter until this bag runs out; I'm not sure what I'll do in terms of another other, but on its own I definitely won't reorder - sorry but this is what I found and I have mobility issues, so it's not an ideal alternative.

Our litter isn’t advertised as lightweight, and the weight of each product is clearly shown, for example, our larger bags contain 10kg of litter. We completely appreciate that this may feel heavy to handle, particularly if you have mobility difficulties. From what you’ve described about the clumps being difficult to remove, a small change to how the litter is being used could make a big difference. We recommend filling the tray to a minimum depth of 7cm. After use, allow around 5 to 10 seconds for a strong clump to form, then scoop it out and top the litter back up to at least 7cm. Keeping this depth helps prevent urine reaching the bottom of the tray and forming harder clumps that need scraping. We’d also recommend using one of our refill scoops to transfer litter from the bag into the tray. This makes topping up much easier as you don’t need to lift and pour the full bag. It can also help minimise dust, as pouring directly from the bag causes the litter granules to hit against each other, which can create more dust. We hope these tips make the remainder of your bag much easier to use and help you get the best performance from the litter. 💕

Has to be the best cat litter. We use the active charcoal for our three cats. It keeps odours very minimal and so easy to pick out the clumping. Less waste. Good price, have recommend it to my cat owner friends!
